Traveling tips

Whether you are traveling as a hobby or for work, any sort of long trip must be planned and organized accordingly in order to have the best trip possible without any unwanted surprises or problems. Some people don’t travel because they are scared, or because they just don’t know any good tips to do it. Going all around the world can be beneficial for you, so nobody should deprive themselves of a good travel experience only because they are unsure of where to start.

Many forums or websites can give you some good advice and tips, but the opinions of those who have traveled frequently can be even more useful. After visiting more than 10 countries, “You should make a list about what you want in your suitcase and adapt your clothes with the weather of the destination,” Max Lesniewski, an exchange student from Poland, recommended.

Making lists is a great idea to be the king or queen of organization. One of the best qualities of a good traveler is predicting while packing. ‘You should always have a water and sunscreen– depending on where you’re going– with you to carry on, you never know what is going to happen,” Emily Hebert, who has traveled to five countries, said.

Visiting a country or a city that you don’t know can be scary, but stress and panic won’t resolve your problems. “It’s a good thing to ask people if you are lost, especially if you speak the language, but if you don’t, then use google translate, it can be useful,” Lesniewski said.

Some people can be weird, and of course you don’t want to approach them for your safety, but there are many people out there who are willing to help too. “Also depending on some cultures, people will help you if they see you lost and you won’t have to ask,” Herbert said.
