Saturday, March 18 the Grizzly Track and Field team competed in their first Invitational in Arlington. It was held at the Chuck Randall Relays. Early in the morning it rained hard, and stayed that way for a while. The wind was also pretty bad, but that made for a good meet. The Grizzlies did very well in their first meet; showing what they’re made of and paving the way for what’s to come. The event hosted eight schools including Arlington, Anacortes, Burlington-Edison, Edmonds-Woodway, Mariner, Sedro-Woolley, Marysville-Pilchuck, and Glacier Peak. The boys finished second and the girls placed first overall while many athletes received many t-shirts from placing high up in multiple events. Come out and support the Grizzlies this Thursday at Shoreline stadium at 3:30 and Saturday in Wenatchee at 11:00 a.m.
