The C team Girls Basketball season has begun! They played at Snohomish against the Panthers on Wednesday, December 3rd. The Grizzlies worked together out on the court for the first time and pulled out a victory.

“The kickoff of this season seems better than any other, our teams are working well together,” post, Maddie Howard said.

The girls have been practicing all summer and fall to get to this point. On Friday December 5^th, the Grizzlies faced the Monroe Bearcats. Both teams came ready to fight until the end, the lead went back and forth all game long. The Grizzlies lost by just two points though Maddie Howard helped her team score 13 points. Alyssa Jordan had three great steals on defense, and Ally Redman had multiple put backs.

Sophomore, Mackenzie Willms said “I gave it my all and I’m proud of the way my team has improved”.

The Grizzlies next game is Thursday December 11th, at Marysville Getchell against the Chargers.
