Bobby Tarantino ll Review
March 14, 2018
On March 9, a rapper who goes by the stage name “Logic” released his 6th album “Bobby Tarantino ll” which is the squeal to the first “Bobby Tarantino” album. Logic first began his rapping career back in 2005 when he released his first ever mix-tape and kept doing this through 2013. While on tour for his fourth mix-tape “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever” he would find time to begin working his first ever album “Under Pressure” which would later come out October 2014. This album helped launch his career even more and give him more inspiration to create more albums to continue his career.
Logic’s real name is Sir Robert Bryson “Bobby” Hall II helped give him the title of his 6th mix-tape “Bobby Tarantino” which was released July 1, 2016 and had 11 songs; Flexicution, The Jam, 44 bars seemed to be the popular songs that made it to the charts. After Bobby Tarantino didn’t really go anywhere he then released his third album “Everybody” on March 29, 2017 but that also didn’t go anywhere besides one song from it that stayed at the top of the charts; 1-800-273-8255. Logic main focus on his “Everybody” album was to share his message with the world about peace, love and positivity, but nows he’s back with a new album “Bobby Tarantino ll” which he clearly states in his intro song; Grandpa’s Space Ship (ft Rick and Morty) saying that this album throws back to what his old songs were about. This album contains 13 songs; Overnight, BoomTrap Protocol, Midnight and 44 More (the squeal song to 44 Bars in the first Bobby Tarantino album) seem to be the ones everyones bumping too.
“I like the album, it really brings me back to the old Logic, I was glad he could regather his footing and make something I can turn up to, some of the fire songs were Midnight, Wizard of Oz, Warm it Up, and Contra,” Tyson Holt said.
“The album is fire! It gives you a little of both mixtape Logic and album Logic, but mostly mixtape Logic. One of his best albums! Some of the good ones off his album has to be Indica Badu, Midnight, BoomTrap Protocol, and Everyday,” Cooper Walker said.
If you have ever listen to Logic before in the past, maybe his old mixtapes or even his newest albums, this album “Bobby Tarantino ll” won’t disappoint!
