Camila
January 16, 2018
On January 12, 2018, Camila Cabello released her first solo album “Camila”. The album has 11 songs, and is number one on the iTunes charts.
Cabello had recently been a part of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which formed in 2012 on the show “The X Factor,” but left the group in 2016. Since she left the group, she’s released multiple singles, including “Havana,” “Never Be the Same” and “Real Friends,” which are all off of the album.
“Camila” was originally titled “The Hurting, the Healing, the Loving” and was supposed to include more sad material. The album now includes a mix of ballads and pop music, the perfect equation for a hit album.
“‘Camilla’ has a great sound with a splash of pop in it. I love it! I’ll be bopping to this album for a long time,” Kaylie Alverez said.
The song list goes as follows:
- Never Be the Same
- All These Years
- She Loves Control
- Havana (feat. Young Thug)
- Inside Out
- Consequences
- Real Friends
- Something’s Gotta Give
- In The Dark
- Into It
- Never Be the Same (Radio Edit)
This album is a fun and fresh take on pop music, and I can’t wait to hear more from her. Go buy “Camila” now!
