“I take right now AP World and Honors English, and that is with Mr. Morgan and Mrs. White. Both of them have never hesitated to help me with my homework or give me a small extension because I play multiple sports. During the wrestling season, it’s really taxing not only on my mental state but also my physical because it’s a very in-depth sport, but I really love that the GP wrestling girls are unlike any other team I’ve come across because of the stuff that we go through and the hard work that we put in the team. It’s a bond that we formed that you can’t really find anywhere else, at least I haven’t. A junior on the team, Ellie Shrieve, has been a huge person in my life, I love her goofy personality and how she never hesitates to tell me exactly what she thinks. My training partner, Cameron Erdman, is my inspiration for why I keep wrestling because I see that people can do hard things and she is so, so good at just going out there and giving it her all and still goofing off with me. It gives me the motivation to want to show up every day, not only for myself but also for my team,” Piehler said.
