“I work at McDonald’s, and I’ve taken Spanish for four years. So, one time, I had to take this person’s order, but they only spoke Spanish. I had to take out my Spanish skills since they had a big order. I was trying my best to understand what they were saying, and I got their entire order right. I was so proud of myself, and I was so excited to use my Spanish in the real world. It made me feel very successful and bilingual. I really like working and getting money in general, but this was just a special moment,” Tate Swetman said.
