“Being on varsity is really fun. It’s a lot of work but when your team is really involved and really good, it’s a really good environment. We played Lake Stevens, we won by 21. The last two times we played Lake Stevens, we lost, but they were really close games. This game was really big for us. It was so fun and really hype. We’re going to regionals. We have a game this Saturday, and then if we win, we get to go to the dome and go to state. I’ve been playing basketball since I was three years old, so a very long time. I’ve always wanted to play on the high school team. My inspiration on the team is probably Brynna Pukis, she is a big leader on our team, she is really good, and just a great person to look up to. When I am a senior, I would want to be like her. Coach Hill is great, he pushes us to be our best and is just such a great coach. Student spirit and the student section at games aren’t the best, I don’t know why. The boy’s games are always so crazy, but then the girl’s games, no one really shows up. It doesn’t bring down our spirit down at all, we’re still pretty hype,” Gamble said.
