“I left early in December for my vacation because my family and I wanted to maximize all our time on our vacation and not deal with long traffic to the airport. First, we went to Singapore, and we went to a hawker center, which is a place where you can get a lot of different kinds of foods. We also went to Arab Street and saw some shops there and had sago, a traditional Chinese dessert. Then I got sick and missed most of the rest of the time in Singapore, but when I was sick in Singapore, my family went to gardens by the bay and Merlion Park. In Japan, we spent all our time in Tokyo Disney Sea and Disneyland. We got to try a few different foods and rode on rides, pretty much a normal Disney Experience. In Australia, it was more chill because we were hanging out with my great-grandfather a lot of the time. We made a few day trips to a park or the beach or something like that, but mostly we stayed at his house. We did go to an escape room one of the days, and that was cool. Then in Taiwan, we got to see lots of different places. We saw some night markets, spent New Year’s there, and toured a noodle factory. My favorite place was probably Taiwan because of all the diverse food we got to try. Overall, the trip lasted about a month. Spending time with family and traveling the world was really fun and interesting,” Worden said.
