“My favorite memory at Glacier Peak has to be this year’s homecoming. The football game was very fun, especially when it was close to the end and GP kept the lead steady for as long as possible. When Aiden kicked the field goal to get us ahead and secure the win it was really cool. The stands went crazy, and it was a nice feeling to know we won our homecoming game. The dance itself is also something I will always remember. I worked a lot on the dance committee last year to help prepare the dance and everything. Seeing it all come together, with all of the set-up and decorations, was really rewarding. I was one of the chairs for homecoming, and we started working on it last year and finished it up this year. Seeing everything go so smoothly with the coronation was great too. We worked really hard on the decorations for the stops, and it was a big team effort that I am very glad I got to be a part of. I was skeptical on how well everything would go come the actual assembly, but it all went perfect, and it was nice to see everyone have a good time at the dance,” Kowalski said.
