“Every time we’ve gotten a cat, it’s in a different part of our life. We got our first cat [Leo], kind of when a lot of stuff was going on in our family, and it was kind of like a stress reliever when we got him. When we got Leo, my parents split, like they’re back together now, but during that time, I was in third grade and they split, and we just got him. Then we got another cat [Hortik] when we were moving to South Carolina, and then when we came back, that same cat had kittens when we moved back here, and it kind of shows different moments of my life. We gave away the kittens, but we kept one kitten, and his name is Toma,” Pankevich said.
