“My favorite experience that I’ve had at GP was in the track season; I always get to meet a lot of new people and I get to make a lot more friends and connections that are really solid. My favorite moment that I’ve ever had in track has to be when I won my 100-meter race at the end of the season. It was really satisfying because I had messed up my hip flexor for almost the entire season and it was really frustrating for me. I was running bad times, and it just wasn’t an accurate representation of what I could do. So when I finally broke out of that shell of injury, I felt like a new runner. I really felt like I was that guy and that I could do anything. I carry that mentality everywhere I go now. Track has really changed me for the better and I’m grateful I can do it. I’m happy to continue sprinting,” Porcincula said.
