“I think going to youth group has really helped me feel like people care about me and it has helped me get to know a lot of people. It makes me feel good being connected with others with similar ideas regardless of the purpose of being there. I would not be who I am without God and Jesus Christ. God makes me better, I wouldn’t even be able to change without him, and it has helped me be successful in every way possible. I think my church helped me impact my community with overall kindness, service with other people, and being more willing to help people. It has also given me a better understanding of what other people have gone through and that none of us are perfect but we’re all working on ourselves and that’s okay. Specifically with Jesus he died for me, he died for you, and he died for everyone, and he did that with each of us in mind and he felt every pain and sickness that we’ve gone through. He died and was resurrected for us and in my opinion because of that were also able to be resurrected when we die and are able to live with our families for eternity,” Adams said.
