“I was in the weight room after school one day in October doing box jumps in the corner and there was a fire alarm about six and a half feet above the ground. The box was about two feet high, and I jumped up and I jumped up and got on top of the box. When I was on top of the box I was in a squatting position, and I turned to stand up and jump off the box and I hit my head and almost passed out. My vision immediately went blurry, and I went up and held my head because I was kinda mad that I had hit it. I was like “this is not fun.” Then I felt a trickle down my ear, and I pulled my hand down from my head and it was covered in blood, so I ran over to coach Bartsch and started screaming “Bartsch, Bartsch” and he looked at me and was like “oh my God” and he sent Marco [Ashby] down with me to the athletic trainer’s office where they cleaned me up and the I got sent to Providence Walk-In”
