“Growing up, my neighbors were always in the Gp shows so my mom took me to see them. I really enjoyed them and was always interested in the sets and how they moved them in the dark on stage. I really enjoyed them, so as soon as I got to high school, I knew I had to join set crew. I am the student set lead. My job is to tell the rest of the set crew what jobs to do, whether that be painting, detailing or papier-mâché and once the show comes around, I help to assign jobs backstage. My favorite part of being in set crew is the amazing group of people that I get to call my crew. We spend so much time together working on the set that we just end up as a very tired and awkward family.”
