“It was such a once in a lifetime experience to be in the White House, and it was really cool because nobody else gets to do it. I got to go because my dad is an injured war veteran and so my mom and I got to be the guests and we worked with this foundation called the Elizabeth Dole Foundation. Mrs. Biden called my mom and asked if we wanted to go to the State of the Union, and then the next Monday they paid for our flights, and we were there from Monday to Thursday. We got to go on the presidential motorcade to the White House. I got to meet the event coordinator and he offered me a job when I’m older. Then, we got to go to the State of the Union and watch them argue on the floor. We also got to sit in the movie room and eat popcorn. My favorite moment was eating a chicken potpie in the White House and getting to meet a bunch of famous people like the famous singer from Sing 2.”
