“I’ve been playing baseball ever since I was five years old, played through a rec league at Maltby Park. Eventually I joined a select team called the Seattle Bombers for a couple of years before I switched back to Maltby, then came to GP. At GP I joined the team as a freshman and practiced for a few weeks before COVID hit and the whole season was canceled. Sophomore year, we had a very limited season with few games and strict COVID regulations. Coming into junior year the rules were less strict, but we still had a shorter than normal season. This year however, there are no COVID restrictions leaving us with a full season. This is my last year playing for GP and it will also be my only normal year. It’s exciting because all of the seniors this year are all going to make the most of this season and play enough to fill the void the last three years left us.”
