“I’ve been performing in musical theater since I was six years old and still love it today. I have had a great time in theater for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge and skills that will help me in my adult life. I have created the most amazing bonds and met almost all of my best friends in the whole world. The theater is a place I get to be myself without judgment from others and especially is a place where creativity and individuality run free. This year, I’m the theatre club’s acting president, and love my responsibilities and getting to be the face of the club. It’s truly one of the best experiences of my life so far. I’m going to college to be a veterinarian and more than likely won’t continue theater, but this hobby will always be with me, and I’ll never forget all the social, emotional, and work ethic skills I have gained through the many years in theater at GP.”
