“In September of 2021, John Legend was going on tour. I remember coming home from my first day of sophomore year with this fancy black car in the front of our house. I didn’t think much of it but when we went inside my mom introduced Mateo (my brother) and I to Chrissy Teigan’s Managers. My mom told us she wanted to cook in her childhood home, and they were asking for our permission. We said yes and we spent the rest of the day getting the house ready for them to film. Later that day, she came into our house with cameras and cooked us Seattle dogs, while she talked about her childhood in the home and her favorite memories. She loved seeing her old bedroom. (My current room) and her old kitchen.”
