What’s the GP/SHS swim team like for you?

“It’s like a big family, we’ve already had a big dinner together as a whole team and then it’s all really inclusive in both groups and all the coaches are there for you and they’re really nice. The team captains for GP are Shouei [Tong], and Matt Reeder. They’re both great people, they’re both really nice. They like to teach us more about swimming and then teach us more about being more like a family. With my injury, I have a water brace so it goes around my ankle and my coaches will let me kick less during practices and I’ll just kick more during the meets. I’ve been swimming for about a year now, so this is my first time on a team, I like it.”
