“I race quads in Monroe. At times it can be kind of scary because there is a high probability of falling. The way it works is there are twelve people in a race on a narrow track, and you’re all super close together so it is very dangerous. Something interesting about it is that there are different classes for different quads and so I do women’s class and the blaster class. I got into it because I’ve been riding since I was about four years old. I just started racing about three years ago. I just enjoy going off and riding in the dunes, or just in a big area and just enjoy racing for fun. I was in a crash recently because in a race, my throttle was stuck and I was going as fast as it could go and I had no control. I crashed into the wall at about 60 miles per hour. From the whole thing my only injury was hurting my pinkie. At first I couldn’t breathe and I thought a broke a whole bunch of bones. I was brought to the hospital on a stretcher and I was having a panic attack but I guess the only thing I hurt was my pinkie.”
