Do you have any regrets in life?

“I don’t think I have any honestly. I’ve had things happen to me but I wouldn’t take those experiences back. During my freshman year, I was sexually abused. Most people ,I guess, would count that as a bad thing, But as I have grown into a woman I decided I wouldn’t take anything that happened back. After it happened I was bitter and embarrassed. I didn’t want people to think of me differently. Recently, I was a leader at my church camp and I was able to share my testimony, I did however leave the story of my sexual abuse out. Another group leader came up to me afterwards and told me she had been raped when she was eight years old. If what had happened to me had not happened, I wouldn’t have been able to help her and give her my testimony of hope.”
