After binge watching the first seven and a half seasons of the show The Office on Netflix, I have come to the conclusion that is one of the best, if not the best Netflix show. Although The Office is an older show that began in 2005, the quality of the show is still amazing. The unique camera angles, sense of humor, and overall story line are some of the main reasons as to why this show is the best. 

The way The Office is filmmed is in more of a documentary style. The camera movements are obvious, when they zoom in and out, giving the show a more personable feel. Another unique thing that the show brings is the way they interview the characters as part of the show. For instance, after some scenes in the show, an actor or two sits down and answer a question as their character. This is a way in which the characters can express their personal thoughts and feelings. 

The comedy in The Office is exceptional. All the characters in the show have their own little quirks that make their humor/personalities shine through. For example, Steve Carell, who plays the manager Michael Scott, is always dropping “That’s what she said” jokes and has a hard time understanding social ques. The show’s plot also brings a lot of the humor, such the funny ways the characters deal with their life decisions. “I like the show because I like the characters and the humor. The show is funny and contains a wide variety of weird characters,” Mayley Johnson said. 

The story line of the show is what keeps you wanting more. Many love interests occur throughout the episodes. The love interests play a big role in this show and it also helps develop the personalities and characteristics to the characters. Another big part of the story line, is the troubles that the company faces. The Dunder Mifflin Paper Company goes through a roller coaster of obstacles that keeps you on your toes and wanting to binge more episodes.
