If you and your friends have already began talking about what to do this summer, then look no further than here for concert advice. Summertime is only a few months away and most bands and artists are announcing news about their upcoming concerts in the state of Washington. The second they do, it almost seems as if there is total anarchy as people try to get tickets to them before they sell out. Many students start looking into going to concerts around this time of year with their friends and finding out some of the more popular ones coming to town.

One of the top country artist Kenny Chesney is coming back to Centurylink Field this July for his “Trip Around the Sun Tour” ft. Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Brandon Lay. His concert is July 7th, and it starts at 5:00pm

“He really made summer pop off! I went to go see him preform at his last concert he had at Centurylink Field back at the start of the summer 2016, and Im looking to buy tickets to his concert when he comes to town this summer.” Senior Coleman Johnson said.

Another big concert is Watershed, a Music Festival where some of the top country artist come to preform all day concerts, and its a 3 day event. The concert is Aug. 3-5. Its at The Gorge Amphitheater, in  Quincy,Washington and the concerts start at 1:00 p.m. all days.

“Watershed was probably my favorite memory of summer 2017. My favorite performers were Old Dominion and Luke Bryan because they both put on such a great show. Having the festival at The Gorge made the concerts even more enjoyable because of the beautiful view they had there. I hope that I can go back again this summer!”” Junior Maddy Gibler said.

If you not that into country music you may enjoy going to Bumpershoot, a three day music festival with many different types of artists. It’s at the Seattle Center starting August 31 and it goes through September 2. Concerts start at 1:30 p.m. all days.

“It was a really cool concerts, a lot of my favorite artists preformed and there was always something to do there. My favorite performance was definitely either YG or Logic, they killed it on stage,” Senior Molly Weiland said.
