He’s Making a List
December 7, 2022
On Friday, Dec. 9, Santa Claus is coming to town. Photos with Santa will be hosted during A and B lunches in the cafeteria. With a few friends, a group, or just yourself, Mrs. Corwin and her students encourage you to wear your ugly Christmas sweaters, Santa hats, or anything festive to pose with Santa. Your photo will be printed on 4×8 photo paper and given to you. “I was Santa last year,” Senior, Konner Meyers said.
Meyers was caught running through the gym during the school’s winter assembly, and for the second year in a row, he is happy to play Santa again. Photos of him and students are taken by Student Media participants against the backdrop ASB students have been working hard to create. A lot of work has gone into this photoshoot, so don’t miss your chance, photos are only $1.
Santa Photos is an annual tradition that students have done to contribute to the food drive. All the profits from Santa photos goes towards the Maltby Food Bank. The Maltby Food Bank is a non-profit organization that reaches out to people in need with the donations we make. Many food banks are scattered across the state, but The Maltby Food Bank has many locations, but the one GP is donating to is right here in Snohomish. Teachers are collecting canned food, preservatives, and cash to give to the food bank. Last year, the Santa Photos made $215 to donate to the Maltby Food Bank. Go earn your spot on the nice list, snap a pic, it’s for a good cause.
