What is the yearbooks staff favorite parts of the book?
Four year senior editor Trevor Butler has spent his whole time in high school working on four different yearbooks. “I really like the articles I wrote as well as the Justin Yormark sidebar,” Trevor Butler said.
Editor in Chief Jackie Shaner has been in yearbook for three years. “Overall I feel like the book is really cohesive and looks very clean, the sports pages are my favorite,” Shaner said.
Next year GP student media will have two editors in chief, Izzie Westlund and Angelica Heimbigner. “My favorite part of the yearbook is seeing it all come together at the end and being proud of everyone’s work,” Hembigner said. “My favorite part of the yearbook is the sports section because I feel like all of the pages really go together and all of the page leads really put their best design ideas into their pages.”
Lilly Brastad has been the Editor in Chief the past two years and has put a lot of work into every book she has helped make. “My favorite part of this year’s book is how many kids are involved in it and how many different things there are to look and interact with,” Brastad said.
Amelia Weeks has been in yearbook for two years and will be the Senior Section Editor during next years book. “I loved the theme in general. All the pages look super good and I’m really impressed with the final product. I really liked the calendars this year too, they were very filled and Lilly did a great job with them,” Amelia said.
Freshman Cooper Bosch was a huge addition to the class making everyone laugh. “When you flip the first page it is really cool to see myself being thrown, it really sets the tone for the whole book,” Bosch said.
