As spring comes out with the sun and flowers, it’s not the only season coming to rise, Prom season is also coming up as well. Seniors are eager to figure out their prom plans, date, and reservations.
For girls, many are starting to look for dresses to wear for the special night. Stores like Windsor, Macy’s, and Nordstrom are all stores in local malls that have nice dresses for a decent price with a variety of sizes, colors and cuts. There are also a ton of online websites that sell formal dresses that are harder to find in stores. However, there are downsides to online dress shopping, without being able to try it on, you need to hope the picture matches the dress and fits well.
As for dinner reservations and pictures many people go to areas like Bellevue which has many good food options such as Din Tai Fung which is a Chinese Restuarant that is well suited for bigger groups of people to eat at before Prom. Bellevue also has beautiful areas to take pictures at no matter what your aesthetic is. If you are into flowers and more earthy pictures, the Botanical Gardens would be a great spot to capture photos. But if you want more city lights for your pictures, downtown Bellevue has some nice lookouts of city skyline for the background of your pictures.
While it may seem too early to book reservations or start ordering dresses, now is the perfect time to start. As Prom creeps up closer and closer many places will be selling out and get fully booked and you may not be able to get exactly what you want. Prom is one of the moments students have been looking forward to too since they were little and important for them now to plan.
