Everyone who’s made it to 2025 has a different story for the past year. 2024 encased a lot of rewards and goods for hard workers, and it taught many lessons along the way and changed a multitude of people. These experiences in 2024 that helped people view life in a different perspective are lessons that can be used in 2025 to lead a better life.
A person whose no exception to this is Will Dacy. He transferred schools in his junior year and had to readjust to glacier peak’s community. “Transferring from O’Dea to Glacier Peak was a huge change I’ve had to adjust to. It’s a completely different structure and environment in terms of school. I basically had glacier peaks final schedule year-round at O’Dea, where I had three to four long classes a day. Getting used to six classes a day was harsh and harder than I thought it was going to be. But I’m happy with it, honestly, it’s nice to be able to be with people I’ve known for pretty much my whole life. Plus, not driving an hour to school every day is super rewarding. I’ve learned from my moving experience to stay focused on what really matters, school, my family and friends. And that you can adjust and adapt to live just about anywhere with the right mindset,” Will Dacy said.
Additionally, Spencer Terry had gone on a big family vacation to visit one of his brothers; This experience opened his eyes to how big the word was. “Back in July we went on a big trip me, and my parents went to Salt Lake City because that’s where one of my brothers lived. From there we went to and drove to San Diego, because my other brother lives there for college. From there we drove to Yosemite to hike. I reflect on these moments a lot because it’s eye opening to see how much of the world I haven’t explored yet. We even met some people from Boston, and they told me stories about places I’d never heard of. I learned through these experiences that there’s more to life than school, that place is just a small part of my life. If I fail a test so what? Life’s always going to find a way to give me a new one,” Spencer Terry said.
