There has been an uproar in the student parking lot involving uneducated parents. Parents have been taking over the student parking lot by taking kids spots and stopping in the middle of the road. They have also been seen not following the stop sign rules and almost hitting kids with their car. “I feel like parking’s already limited in the parking lot so when they take students parking spots it causes extra hassle that isn’t needed,” Ben Williams said.

There are only so many spots in the student parking lot. Its hard coming to school and finding out you may not have a parking spot or have parents who don’t know the rules of the student parking lot and not knowing what to do at the stop signs “The parents are really annoying, and they have been stealing the parking spaces,” Skylar Anderson said.

Some of the teachers have ideas on how the parking lot could change for the better. There could be some rules the school could help with to make the parking lot a less crowded space. “The student parking lot is the most poorly designed traffic flow ever, a total time waste for people who are waiting in line and something that. as things we need to fix in GP, make that number one” Mr. Bonner said.

The school even has a separate drop off line for students that have parent pick up. Which the student pick up line is specifically made for the parents who have to drop off their kids. We all need to have courtesy when it comes to all the parking lots. “Stay in your lane,” Mr. Mutcheson said.
