Khalid has been teasing his fans about his new album for a while now. Many of his fans that follow him on his social media, especially twitter, know that he’s posted a few snippets of some of his new songs that will be on the album. And many fans wondered when the wait of his new album would be over.

However, on February 28, 2019 the wait was over and Khalid finally announced that his new album called “ Free Spirit” will be released on April 5th.

“When I saw Khalid’s Instagram post,  I immediately started to freak out with my friends because we have been waiting for his new album for so long and I’m really excited to see how much he has grown from his first album” Junior, Malak Al- Muhanna said.

Not only will he be releasing a new album, but shortly after he announced his album release date, he also announced that he shot a short film which will be in theaters worldwide only on April 3rd. If you purchase a ticket, not only will you be able to watch the short film, but you will also be able to listen to the album before anyone else does.

“I think it’s really cool how Khalid decided to do something like this for his album because I’ve never seen any other artist do this. I am definitely going to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale” junior, Aryanna Lopez said.

Tickets and more information will be available when the date gets closer. However, if you are planning to go watch the short film, you should probably buy your tickets as soon as they go on sale because many other people will probably want to go too.
